Indian Summer

We took advantage of a nice warm Saturday and went to Leo Carillo for an afternoon at the beach. The kids really enjoyed it since it was the first time they have been to the beach since they learned how to walk. Camille and Annika are definitely our ocean lovers. They kept running down to the water and insisted on getting their feet wet in spite of the 54 degree water......Henrik likes the beach, but had a lot more fun making use of his shovel to dig in the sand.

Happy New Year

We had another nice weekend in Big Bear. The kids liked playing in the snow and running wild around their Auntie's house.

Merry Christmas!

We had a really nice Christmas in California this year. We started out at our house, spent Christmas Eve at Nana's house and then drove up to Big Bear first thing Christmas Morning. The kids seemed to have enjoyed opening their presents, but ended up trading most of their gifts. Camille ended up with Annika's glow worm and Annika wore Henrik's hat most of the weekend. Henrik didn't seem too bothered by the whole situation and was content to walk around the house in his new boots.
