No More Steriods

We took Camille to see an eye specialist and found out that her hemangioma has shrunk to the point that she no longer needs steriods. Her astigmatism is also minor enough that she won't need glasses anytime soon. She seems like she's ready to walk and can hold herself up against out ottoman. She's also getting a third tooth - this time on top.

Annika learned how to clap her hands this week and now always seems to be smiling while clapping her hands. She and Henrik seem to be getting along really well as she doesn't mind when he does his steam-roller right on top of her.

Henrik is still a very active little guy. He basically just rolls and rolls until he runs into something and can't go any farther. He decided recently that he's too old for naps and has been trying to make it through en entire day on a 10-minute nap. Despite his lack of sleep, he still is generally in a very good mood.

Hi You All: I was in just great enjoyment and thankfulness to hear that Camille did not have to have steriods anymore. At first it was thought for 7 years to get that healed. I was just so amazed and so thankful that all of our prayers were answered. Camille's eye has looked so much better on the pictures on the blog, but I was not sure. I am so very happy! Please keep me informed. She looks so great. And, no glasses at this point? Great!!!!!

Love you all and I can hardly wait to see you this summer when you visit Wisconsin in July. Hope I can make it there. I will give it my best. Otherwise, you will all have to make a trip up here in the northwoods. haha

Love you all, Aunt Kathy

Praise God! Great news about Camille! She has a special place in my my heart. I have astigmatism and had glasses for it when i was in Kindergarten...I just got back from a week of yachting in teh bahamas and I have to say - the babies pictures are as beautiful as anything I've seen all week! Their eyes are as blue as the seas we were on! I miss you....
Love, Dawn
