Full House

The triplets finally got to meet their new little sister. They were a bit confused at first, but seem like they are starting to figure everything out. The girls took to her right away and enjoyed being able to touch her toes. Henrik was most interested in using her car seat as a drum.

Almost Home

Baby Ilsa is doing great and is already cleared to go home. She and Chantel will get released tomorrow. It will be interesting to see how the triplets handle everything. Ilsa is still a very calm little one. She sleeps all the time, so it is tough to catch her with her eyes open.

Baby Ilsa Lorraine

She was born on November 13th at 1pm in Santa Monica. She weighed 8 lbs 12 oz and was 20 inches long. Both she and Chantel are doing fine. As you can see, she has a lot of hair. The triplets are not allowed in the hospital, so I'm sure they will be surprised to see the new addition when Chantel is able to come home on Tuesday. She is a very calm baby and seems to be sleeping well. Hopefully, that will be the case once she comes home!

In the Front Yard

The triplets enjoyed a rare opportunity to spend some time in the front yard. They only ever get to play in the back yard, so this was a big treat for them to run around hunting for sticks.

Temescal Gateway Hike

We took the kiddos on a nice hike up on the Temescal Gateway Trail. The last time we had the stroller, both Camille and Henrik wanted to walk the whole way. This time, when we only had backpacks, they wanted to be carried the whole time. As usual, Annika had no real interest in walking. Both she and Henrik were worn out from being carried and ended up falling asleep on our way back down the trail. Just as expected, Camille refused to miss out on the action and walked most of the way down.
